He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rich of Newcastle, WY; his children, Brenda, Barrie, Brandon (Alyssa) and Brittany; his grandsons, Grayson and Gavin; his pets, Jovie of Rapid City, SD. and Juno of Rapid City, SD.; his siblings, John (Bertie), Ruthie Norris of Payson, AZ, Lois Mirich of Lingle, WY, Martha Rich of Newcastle, WY and Sarah Wolf (John) of Phoenix, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Shields of Arlington, TX, Ann Rich of Douglas, WY, Marilyn Wright of Newcastle, WY, Brenda Costello (Al) of Newcastle, WY, Terry Rich (Barrett) of Newcastle, WY and Dick Rich (Bonnie) of Newcastle, WY.
Due to the COVID pandemic, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established to Weston County Senior Services for the purchase of a player piano so that Jim's music will live on.
