He is survived by: his nephews, David, Curtis and Jonathan; his siblings, Dan Gerke, Don Nelson, Cheryl DiQuisto and Cynthia DiRaimondo; and his son Charles Gerke. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
