He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd, Inez Tysdal and Russell Davis; and his uncle Martin Tysdal. He is survived by: his grandmother Lorraine Davis; his sister Kyla Popma (Micah); his nephew Josiah Popma; his aunt Bobbie Jo Tysdal; and his uncles, Lauris Tysdal (Linda) of Newcastle, Wyoming and Grant Davis.

A Memorial Fund has been established for the Weston County Search & Rescue.
