It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Carol Stephenson of Newcastle, Wyoming, born in Lead, South Dakota, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Val Delahoyde and Gertrude Delahoyde (Manning); her husband Henry; her son Gary; and her brother Tom.
She is survived by: her daughter Teresa Dominick (John) of Meridian, ID.; and her siblings, Yvonne Derosier, Jeannette Dougherty, Alta Morgan, Valetta Harris, Lynnette Braun (Dennis), Jim (Pam), Don (Carol), Dan (Phyllis) and Bruce (Cindy). She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Per Carol's request there will be no service and asks that anyone that wishes to do so, please donate to the local humane society, fire department, museum, or Raising Readers of Wyoming. Impacts of Carol's donations can be seen throughout the community and she wishes for others to continue with their own generosity in supporting worthy causes that benefit so many others.
