He was predeceased by: his parents, Marley Hershey and Dora Hershey. He is survived by: his sister Genevieve (Chet Paulus); his wife Carol Hershey (Knapp); his children, Randy Hershey (Theresa), DeAnn Ottema (Duke) and Connie Hieb (Darrel); his grandchildren, Tiffany Callaway (Cody), Crystal Schrank (Riley), Logan Hershey (Sabrena Divis), Diane Christensen (Ty), Duane Ottema (Lindsey), Ryan Hieb (Kelsey) and Troy Hieb (Hannah Williams); and his great grandchildren, Mesa, Hazley Callaway, Troy, Brady Christensen, Aiden, Avery Ottema and Ashtyn Hieb.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Newcastle Wyoming Veterans Memorial or First United Methodist Church and may be sent to Hershey's at 26 Foothills Drive, Newcastle, WY 82701.
