With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie Henry Hertel of Moorcroft, Wyoming, born in Mobridge, South Dakota, who passed away on August 15, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hertel and Anna Hertel (Simerman); and his son Gaylen Hertel. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Hertel (Shirley) of Bullhead, Arizona, Valerie Sweeney (Ron) of Moorcroft, Danny Hertel, Loren Hertel (Bonnie) and Larry Hertel (Brenda); his daughter-in-law Mame Hertel of Gillette; his siblings, Delanis Jocim, Martin, Lawrence and Tim Hertel; and his half-brother Delray Hertel. He is also survived by one nephew; three nieces; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
