She was predeceased by: her parents, James D Wham and Marguerite Wham (Peg West); her former spouse JP Wood; her husband R. Mike Shepherd; her brother James D Wham, Jr.; and her son-in-law Terry McKillip.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Jespersen (Robert), Jim Wood (Teressa), Mary McKillip, Johnny Wood (Vicky) and Aaron Wood. She is also survived by her five children, seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Citizens of Moorcroft honored her in 2019 with the Life Time Achievement Award for her contributions to the community.
