He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Viola Mae and James Forrest Mingus; his granddaughter Bobbie JoAnn; his great grandchild Kaylie Rose Canaday; his children, James Mingus (Susan), Pamela Marquez (Efrain) and Wanda Canaday (Charles); and his stepdaughters, Kathy Davis and Virginia Davis.
