He was predeceased by: his father Donnie Dean Schmidt; and his brother LaVerne. He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his mother Betty Jane Schmidt of Stevinson, California; his daughter Bobbi Jo Douglas (Nathan) of Worland; and his sister Linda Louise Schmidt of Stevinson, California. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
