He is survived by: his former wife Debbie Rappleye; his son Rickie M. (Stacey); his former wife Susan Richardson; his children, Dwayne, Jamie (Cheryl), Jeff, Danny, Brandy and Jennifer; his stepmother Sandi Hoopes; his siblings, Randy Hoopes (Corrine), Cliff Hoopes (Dawna), Pam Brown, Kris Stringer (Merrill) and Kari Combs (John); and his pet Duce. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
