He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Benson and Irma Benson; and his brother Gary Benson. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his siblings, Bonnie Ross (Jim) and Joe Benson (Lynn); his children, Geoffrey Murrish (Jenny), Ann Palomba (Alan) and Joe Benson (Kirk); his grandchildren, Shane Murrish (Jillian), Scott Murrish (Esther Lee), Lauren Yan (Leo), Shanna Bellman (Jason) and Jamie Cobb (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Madysen, Brooks, Bode Bellman and Margaux Murrish. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Warren's name to Hospice of Laramie or the Cowboy Joe Club.
