He was predeceased by: his parents, John Covell and Nina Covell; and his sister Judy Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Patti Jakeman Covell; his daughter Annie Covell; and his siblings, James Covell (Kelly), John Covell, Maureen Delcollo and Patti Moore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
