He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Ollie" Peterson and Dolores Peterson; and his brother Craig Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Peterson; his children, Raquel Romero (Justin), Jonah Peterson (Danielle) and Sean Peterson (Dagan); his grandchildren, Mckyln, Devani, Danika, Michael of Luke, SJ, Titus, Wyatt, Owen, Fisher, Hugh, Beau and Lottie; and his siblings, Kathy Pantier, Lance, Steve and Mark.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Laramie, an organization that loved and gave him comfort beyond measure.
