We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Mary L. Hanna (Laramie, Wyoming). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William J Hanna; her parents, James Skike and Betty Van Skike; and her siblings, Patty, Kitty and Paul.

She is survived by: her children, William Hanna (Elizabeth) of Texas, James Hanna (Shannon) of Kansas, Dawn Lockett (Donavon) of Nevada and Patrick Hanna (Renee) of Washington; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, Samuel, Alexander, Douglas, Caitlin, Isabella, Grace and Jack; and her friend Amy Wisdom. She is also survived by great-granddaughter; and her 18 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hospice of Laramie, a not for profit, where Mary spent her final days or the Laramie Animal Shelter who helped find homes for her furbabies when she got ill.

“From Toni Liberto, “To Billy, Jimmy, Dawn and PJ, spouses, your children, grandchildren: I am so sorry for the loss of your mom and grandmom. I can't remember ever not knowing her as she was always there when we all lived in Oxford and she and my mom were always friends. I loved to come down to your house and watch movies with her as she was more like family to me than my own extended family that lived far away from us. Please know that we think of all of you often. My sympathies to everyone.”

“If you ever wonder if a great friend you haven't seen in years thinks of you often and misses you dearly, don't wonder. They do. Mary and I were the best of friends for 30 years and then, due to a stupid problem, we never spoke again. She was my 'ride or die' buddy and we had so many fun times together. I am sick with grief that I wasn't there when she passed and I hope she knows now that I love her and I miss her and I am sorry we drifted apart. Perhaps we'll ride again old friend. I hope so.”
