With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Nelson of Laramie, Wyoming, who passed away on May 5, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Dowey and Helen Dowey; and her sister Jill. She is survived by: her children, Kara, David, Daniel, Deborah and Joanna. She is also survived by her twenty-seven grandchildren and her three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made for Latin Masses to be said for the repose of the soul of Mrs. Joy Ann Nelson.
