“Professor Cole taught poetry when i was a student at the University of Wyoming, though i did not have the appreciation for the genre until many years after graduation. I reconnected with him a few years ago and enjoyed our conversations at the university and Coal Creek coffee house. He was a gentle soul and exhibited great caring for how changes in my life had affected me. I very much enjoyed knowing him. I will miss him. I hope i will see him again. God bless him. May his memory be eternal.”
