He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, G. R. McConnell and Hazel McConnell; his siblings, Jack, Julie and Maxine (Mary Jane Johnson); his sons, Giley R. McConnell III of Brush and Michael D. McConnell of Lander; and his grandchildren, Sean, Samantha, Seth, Steven, Mark and Kiley. He was also cherished by five great grandchildren.
