He is survived by: his wife Esther Mary Furmanski; his children, Gary Nielsen, Carolyn Herman of Laramie, WY, Alan Nielsen (P. Z.) of Barnes, WI and Dan Nielsen; and his grandchildren, David, Kristin, Brittany, Elise, Kristian, Michael and Nicole. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
