He was predeceased by: his brothers, Warren and Gary Benson; his brother-in-law Rick Ellwanger; his nephew Garth Benson; and his niece Brandie Casas.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Beltz; his children, Joe Benson (Jodi) and Jill Malloy (Mike); his grandchildren, Abby Benson Treffer (Garrett) and Ty Benson; his great grandchildren, Brody and Tate Treffer; his sister Bonnie Ross (Jim); and his sisters-in-law, Joann Benson, Suzie Schatz Benson Hills, Judi Beltz Ellwanger and Patti Beltz Roylance. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and a number of close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe's name to Hospice of Laramie, 1754 Centennial Dr., Laramie, WY 82070.
