He was predeceased by: his parents, Erma Wehrman and Joe Wehrman; his former wife Carol Wehrman; and his sister Mary Ellen McLeod. He is survived by: his former wife Carol Steinmetz; his son Scott; his wife Marjane Ambler; his daughter Sheri Daley (Christopher); his grandchildren, Alexa Wehrman and Sterling Wehrman; his nephew Shan McLeod (Betsy); and his niece Michelle Lieuallen. He is also survived by her daughter, many of his cousins, and his many friends.
