He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Capron Tappan and Bernice Morse Tappan; and his sister Judith Tappan Walter. He is survived by: his wife Ellie (Ellie); and his daughters, Becky Tappan Hale, Lori Tappan Sly and Lida Rose Tappan Brauner. He is also survived by husbands, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
