He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Walter Ellis and Anita Irene Ellis (Darnell) of Lander; and his nephew Ben Ellis of Nashville, Tennessee.. He is survived by: his cousin Nate Brown; his wife Patt (Patt); his brother Bob (Suzy) of Ft. Collins, Colorado; his children, Rick Ellis (Christy) of Lander and Jodi Ellis Church (Travis) of Bennett, Colorado; his stepson Jared Jamerman (Lori) of Asheville; and his grandchildren, Anna, Richard Ellis, Coulter, Chloe, Caden Church, Zach Joens and Sam Jamerman. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
