He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Jerome and Gertrude Mary Simer (Baden); and his siblings, Lora, Trudi, Stephanie (Peter), Frank (Anne-Sevrine) and Harvey (Cheryl).
He is survived by: his grandchild Laurel; his wife Cyndy; his children, Kurt Simer (Fay), Fletcher Simer (Elizabeth) and Laurel Simer; and his grandchildren, Edith, Frederick, Greta and Beatrice.
