She was predeceased by: her husband Charles A. Oakley; her parents, Frances M. Schmidt and Fred W. Schmidt; her brother Thomas J. Schmidt; and her nephew Shawn Schwope.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Marie Simpson (Colin), Cheri Lynn Copeland (Eric) and Ember Ann; her grandsons, Mackenzie Simpson, Trey Copeland, Nicholas Simpson and Mason Copeland; her siblings, Linda and Randy Schmidt (Marjorie); her nephews, Lance Schwope (Amy), Aaron Schmidt (Aubrey) and Kyle Schmidt (Claire); and her niece Michelle Schwope. She is also survived by her family and friends.
She was a member of the Cowboy Joe Club, and she and Chuck donated several steers to the "Steer-a-Year" program.
