She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Lynn Otte and Bessie Irene Gustin Otte; and her husband Walter James Schafer. She is survived by: her children, James Schafer (Daniel) and Leslie Meyers (Dallas); her grandchildren, Courtney (Palmer Schafer), Taylor (Makayla Meeks), Robbie Zuspan and Mickell Fowles; and her great grandchild Kylinn Zuspan. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
