It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Chavez Sr. of Lander, Wyoming, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Chavez and Felonise Wells; his siblings, Joe Chavez, Subiano "Silver" Chavez, Delores Chvez and Francis Chavez; and his nephew Sam Chavez.
He is survived by: his wife Illel Chavez; his children, Tina Knott of Lander, Linda Black (Brian) of Riverton and Henry Chavez Jr. (Kelsie) of Lander; and his grandchildren, Hadli, Kenleigh, Adam, Thomas, Emily, Damien, Malea, Jordy and Sasha. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
