He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hopkins and Lorene Hopkins; and his siblings, Dixie Rae and Clayton Duane. He is survived by: his former spouses, Shirley Mae Bacon and Lee Shaul; his wife Polly Keeline; his sons, Sean Hopkins (Jenifer) of Mitchell, NE and Zane Hopkins (Kyle Ann) of Banner County, NE; his grandchildren, Josh Hopkins (JoAnn) of Morrill, NE, Justin Hopkins of Mitchell, NE and Tiffany Hopkins of Banner County, NE; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Peyton and Allie Hopkins of Morrill, NE; and his sister Bettie Sue Penick (Bernie) of Lakin, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nebraska Children's Home Society or an animal rescue of your choice.
