He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Henry Kothe and Lillie Emma Kothe (Aksamit); his siblings, June Louise Wassenburg and William John Kothe; and his daughter Robertta Lynn Kothe.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel; his children, Carol JoAnn Lewis, Jamie Lillian Kothe, Paulla Louise Kothe and Russell Gene Kothe; and his siblings, James Leroy Kothe, Patrica Mary Griffin, Bessie Ann Middlemas, Katherine Rose Williams and Lynda Dianne Baker. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
