He is survived by: his wife Diana Mackinen of Kemmerer, WY; his children, Michael Anne Mackinen of Kemmerer, WY and Shane Mackinen of Elko; his grandchildren, Sable Sage Abeyta and Rudi Morgan Mackinen; and his sister Mary Lou Gilchrist of Wellington, CO. He is also survived by three great nephews, and three great nieces.
