With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Irene McKinney (Jackson, Wyoming), born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 27, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Turner Shoemaker and Irene Lampert Shoemaker; her husband Ralph V. McKinney, Jr.; her sister Cindy Duncan of Kennett Square, PA; her daughters, Heather (Rick Peacock), Holly McKinney and Chip Collins of Jackson, WY; her grandchildren, Hunter, Bailey and Hayden Collins; her daughter Laurel (Kevin Sanville); her grandchild McKenna Sanville; her daughter Rosemary (Steve Milsap); and her grandchildren, Cody and Brendon Milsap.
COVID isolated her in her senior apartment and stopped her from summering in Wyoming, but it did not stop her from investing in other interesting projects.
If desired, memorials may be made to the McKinney-Whitwer Biological Sciences Scholarship at Bowling Green State University.
