She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernal Marchant and Severn Hix Marchant; and her siblings, Jay Marchant and Vina Madsen. She is survived by: her daughter Tamara Cain; her siblings, Polly Mortell of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Gene; and her sisters-in-law, Trish Marchant of Kennewick, Washington and LaRue Marchant of Grant, Idaho. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She dedicated many years to raising money for the American Cancer Society through Relay for Life.
