He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Groves and Cecilia Groves (Schlautmann); his siblings, Clifford, Urban, John and JoAnn Wolff; and his daughter Deena Parnell (Ross).
He is survived by: his wife Frances Groves of Hulett, WY; his daughters, Deborah Odegaard (Darrell) of Egeland, ND and Dorothy Southworth (Duane) of Gillette, WY; his sister Marlene Newton; his grandchildren, Melissa (Parnell), Craig Fisher, Lee Parnell, Jason Odegaard (Karen), Eric Odegaard, Terry Southworth (Hillari) and Dusty Southworth (Tara); and his great grandchildren, Joseph, AJ Parnell, Megan, John Fisher, Evan, Kalena, Aiden Odegaard, Rylee, Remi Southworth, Haywood and Hudson Southworth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
