He is survived by: his wife Rose Lovato; his sisters, Mary Madrid (Alfred) and Priscilla Lopez (Victor); his children, Melvin (Leanna), David (Susan), Paula (Jesus), Paul and John (Billie Jo); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Carmen, Drew, Amanda, Kara, Terrance, Melissa, Trae, Amber, April and Paul Joe (PJ). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
