John Watterson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Watterson of Green River, Wyoming, born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, who passed away on April 7, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Watterson and Elsie Bell Jamieson; and his grandparents, John and Elsie Jamieson. He is survived by: his children, John Pete Watterson (Jen) and Sandy Thomas (Ethan) of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his grandchildren, Whitney Lessard (Andrew), Hailey Canavan (Dustin), Sarye Thomas and Syvon Thomas; and his pets, Sage and Willow. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
The family respectfully requests donations be made in John's memory to Rock Springs Humane Society, 310 Yellowstone Road, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901.
