He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Eugene Tankersley and Joanne Tankersley; and his brother John Tankersley. He is survived by: his former spouse Shawn McGinnis; his children, Seth Tankersley of Green River, Wyoming, Dustin Tankersley of Hulett, Wyoming, Mackenzie Tankersley of Green River, Wyoming and Kerri A. Tankersley Odusanya (Olumide) of Charlottesville, Virginia; his siblings, Jeff Tankersley of Reno, Nevada and Jill Savely (Carl) of Reno, Nevada; and his grandchildren, Remington Leon Grant, Taylor Idell Burch-Tankersley, Aderemi Odusanya and Ademola Odusanya. He is also survived by several cousins; one niece and one nephew.
