He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenna Andersen and Benjamin Rex Andersen; and his siblings, Kim Andersen, Gary Andersen and Jan Platero.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Fanos of Green River, Wyoming; his children, Michelle Andersen-Viselli (Mike) of Henderson, Nevada, Ashley Bollinger (Jesse) of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Jonathan Andersen (Cami) of Evanston, Wyoming and Justin Andersen (Bonnie) of Rock Springs, Wyoming; his sister Shauna Millard (Douglas) of South Ogden, Utah; and his grandchildren, Jared, Jana, Alexis, Jordan, Shaelynn, Autumn, Nicholas, Stella, Rowan, Caroline, Charlotte, Charles and Jackson. He is also survived by several cousins; nieces and nephews.
