He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Schifferns and Irene Schifferns (Wakeland); his sons, Matthew Monroe Schifferns and Robert Dean Schifferns; his grandson Robert Bennett Schifferns; and his siblings, Lloyd Schifferns, Phyllis, Marion and Iola.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Schifferns of Glenrock; his children, Timothy Schifferns (Glenda) of Billings, Dwayne Schifferns (Linda) of Glenrock and Regina Culver (Len) of Billings; and his sister Donna Brooks (Tyronne). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
