It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary McKenney of Gillette, Wyoming, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary McKenney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Carson and Violet Carson (Stuklick); her husband Darrel McKenney; and her siblings, Dean Carson and Dixie Hooper.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Lynd Ward (Martin) of Pointblank, TX, Shawn Ray McKenney (Cherokee), Michael Shane McKenney (Angela) and Mary Shannon McKenney of Gillette; her grandchildren, Kevin Ward, Kris Ward, Rachel Moring, Payge McKenney, Zack Stubblefield, Ashley McKenney, Madeline McKenney and Darrel McKenney; and her sister Donna McCormack of Gillette. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and in laws.
A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gillette Memorial Chapel (210 W 5th St, Gillette, WY 82716). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt Pisgah Cemetery (804 S Emerson Ave, Gillette, WY 82716).
