He was predeceased by: his parents, Murel Ealy and Gladys Ealy (Hockett); his wife Thelma Cure; his sisters, Sandra and Shirley; and his grandson Marshall Ealy.
He is survived by: his sons, Monte Ealy (LaTisha), Corey Ealy (Shelly) and Kenneth Ealy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
