He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kannegieter and Laura Kannegieter; his wife Mavis Kannegieter; his son Jason Kannegieter; and his siblings, Everett Kannegieter and Joyce Piercy.
He is survived by: his children, Sherri Bittner (Mark), Todd Kannegieter (Shelley) and Janell Holden (Tony); his great grandchildren, Payson, August, Crew and Klaire; and also, Teresa Kannegieter, Desiree Damori (Conrad), Sheena Holden, Tyson Holden (Katie), Ryan Kannegieter and Laura Kannegieter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roadway Alliance Church (811 Hemlock Ave, Gillette, WY 82716). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery (804 S Emerson Ave, Gillette, WY 82716).
