He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Evan and Wilma Haderlie Jenkins; his wife Liz Nielsen; his children, Andrea Olenslager (Randy), Alexander Jenkins (Angela), Jens Jenkins (Shelli), Tina Harding (Tyson), Jennifer Howell (John), Benjamin Jenkins (Bethany), Hilary Biddulph (Evan), Tanya Mosbacker (Bracken) and Jessica Tran (Henry); his siblings, Lynette [Alfred] Blue, Kendall [Eileen] Jenkins and JoLynn [Jeff] Barneck; and his friend Liz. He was also cherished by 38 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
