He is survived by: his wife Reva Hill; his children, Kammi, Meldonna, Gladys (Cheryl), Noland (Drenda) and Meldon Jr. (Tammi); his grandchildren, Jocie, Hope, Julian, Nykeen, Eliah, Ryland, Chordlen, Treasun, Tayleah, Eddaleigh, Osiris, Kir'a, Cloudy, Joseph, Jayron, Lorenzo, Rosie, Faith, Gabby, Jaydan, Catherine, Mary, Davi, Phillip, Gabriel, Taleah and Jared; his great grandchildren, Johnny, Ledger, Amelia and Adonis; his brothers, Darrell Ferris "Babs" and David Ferris Sr.; his close friends, Gus Thayer, Wes Martel, Sandy St Clair and Jimmy Pig Coulston; his siblings, Wilford "Shorty", Richard "Dickie", Herman "Bundy" Ferris, Illa Hill and Taritta Jorgenson; and his granddaughter Erica Chacon.
A wake was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and at 7:00 PM. Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:00 PM at the Family Home (11390 US-287, Lander, WY 82520). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rocky Mountain Hall (19 N Fork Rd, Fort Washakie, WY 82514).
