He was predeceased by: his parents, Lauris Clair "Doc" Sandbak and Violet "Vi" Ladiva Bruhn; and his siblings, Ida Gene Sandbak, Edward Lee Sandbak and Jack Laverne Sandbak.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ann Hill-Sandbak of Farson, Wyoming; his children, Richard Allen Sandbak (Lorrene "Lorri") of Green River, Wyoming and Jo Lyn Weaver of Farson, Wyoming; his siblings, Louis Arther Sandbak (Margaret) of Winnemucca, Nevada, Henry Jay Sandbak (Flora) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Lois Elaine Sandbak of Kingman, Arizona; his grandchildren, Shalee Sandbak-Foote (Colton), Samantha Rochelle Griffin (Teddy), Zain Allen Sandbak, Owen Kenneth Sandbak, Amanda Dawn Weaver, Montgomery Allen Weaver, Marilyn Pearl Weaver and Mark Lee Cash Weaver; and his great grandchild Ashton Abal Griffin.
