He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence E. Stairs and Bessie Eileen Stairs (Smith); his siblings, Jerilyn Dee Barnes (Stairs) and Norman; and his sister-in-law Julia Stairs.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his children, Regina Pacheco, Rodney Clapp and Rick Stairs (Nina); his grandchildren, Emily, Ethan Karp, Matthew Stairs, Sean Pacheco and Logan Stairs; his sister Charlene Sanford; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many wonderful friends.
