He was predeceased by: his parents, Tharol George Porter and Mae Porter (Gregory); and his siblings, Dennis Porter and Shauna Decker. He is survived by: his wife Carol Porter of Evanston; his son Travis; and his siblings, Rick Porter (Brenda) and Roxann Owen (Carl).
