She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Hughes and Elma Dockstader; and her brothers, Eddie Hughes, Sean Hughes and Louis Elizando.

She is survived by: her husband James Pecenka of Evanston; her daughter TayaLeila; and her brothers, Larry Scott Wertz and Shane K. Hughes.
