As Roger departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roger may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roger leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Holden and Selma C. Holden. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Holden (Dee); his son Donovan Holden; and his siblings, Duane, Merle Holden and Donna Shippy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evanston Roundhouse (1500 Main St, Evanston, WY 82930). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
