He is survived by: his mother Rosa Ramirez Mendez of Evanston; his children, Pablo, Anahi Escalante of Evanston, Rosie, Ashley, Eddie Mendez of El Paso, Texas and Donlito Mendez of Evanston; his siblings, Nacho (Rachel) of Evanston, Mike (Rosa) of Evanston, Gaby Mendez of Evanston and Mary Gutierrez (Tony) of Midland, Texas; his close friend Yaicha of Evanston; and his niece Michelle Gutierrez. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
