She was predeceased by: her parents, Orson Peter Nielsen and Ada Leona Wilkinson; and her siblings, Kenneth Orson Nielsen (Joyce Nissen), Elvin Wilkinson Nielsen (Retha) and Barbara Leona Nielsen (Glen Pont).

She is survived by: her brother David Edwin Nielsen (Diane Cook). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
