He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Potter and Bertha Nelson Potter; his siblings, Timothy, Lafayette, Burl, Everett, Dee, Skip, Vern, Fontella, Eleanor, Reva and Rena; and his daughter Debbie.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Lola Gardiner (Brud) and Ryan Potter (Lorrissia); his grandchildren, Brailen, Taygin, Shawn and Brandy; and his brother Dave (Kaye). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
